Privacy policy

The short version: licensereciprocity.com is a static information site. There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no lead forms, and no advertising. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data, because we do not collect it in the first place.

What we don't collect

• No account or profile — there's nothing to sign up for.
• No email capture, contact forms, or marketing lists.
• No advertising or third-party ad trackers.
• No sale or sharing of personal information to anyone, for any purpose.

Analytics

We measure aggregate traffic with a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool (Umami) that does not set advertising cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites. It records anonymized, aggregate signals — such as which page was viewed, an approximate region, and the type of device or referrer — to help us understand which guides and tools are useful. It is not used to identify individual visitors.

The interactive tools

The Reciprocity Checker, Compact Map, and Endorsement Finder run entirely in your browser. The professions and states you select are processed on your device to show a result and are not sent to us or stored. The tools require no personal information and set no cookies.

If you email us

When you write to [email protected] — for example to report an error — we receive your message and email address so we can reply and verify the correction. We use it for that correspondence only, and don't add you to any list.

Nearly every page links out to official state boards and compact commissions. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. This policy covers only licensereciprocity.com.
